May an occupational therapist (OT) accept referrals from health care professionals other than a physician?

Pursuant to K.S.A. 65-5402(b), the occupational therapist can evaluate and treat a patient pursuant to the referral, supervision, order or direction of a physician, licensed podiatrist, licensed dentist, licensed chiropractor, licensed optometrist, or a licensed physician assistant or a licensed advanced practice registered nurse working pursuant to the order or direction of a person licensed to practice medicine and surgery.

In Kansas, to what degree are occupational therapists permitted to participate in the treatment of wounds?

How many occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) may be supervised by an Occupational Therapist? Are there any other requirements for supervising OTAs?
