The Board accept checks, money orders, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. To pay with debit or credit card, please use the Credit/Debit Card Payment Authorization Form.

The application process takes on average four to eight weeks; however, each application is different. Please keep in mind that information required for licensure comes from the applicant and various outside organizations.

Wallet cards are emailed after the license has been issued and can be accessed anytime in the online portal.

All Podiatric Doctor licenses expire on October 31st; the license must be renewed annually.

The renewal cycle for Podiatric Doctors begins August 15th and ends October 31st each calendar year. To renew, login to the online portal during the renewal cycle.

The late renewal cycle is from October 1st – October 31st. There is an additional late fee.

On November 1st, the license status will be Cancelled – Failure to Renew. Practicing after a license is cancelled may subject a Podiatric Doctor to disciplinary action.

A reinstatement application can be submitted and associated reinstatement fee(s) must be paid. Depending on the circumstances, reinstatement may require additional testing, training, or education as the Board deems necessary.

Yes, The Kansas Health Care Stabilization Fund Act requires Podiatric Doctors with an active license in Kansas to maintain professional liability insurance of not less than $500,000 per claim, not less than $1,500,000 annual aggregate for all claims made during the policy period, and otherwise comply with the Stabilization Act.  K.S.A. 40-3402; K.S.A. 40-3404; K.S.A. 65-2809(c).

A license status change may be requested at the time of renewal, or to change your license type outside of the renewal cycle, the Designation/Type Change Form may be completed. Additional documents and fees may be required, depending on the license type.

A Change of Name Form should be submitted along with required documentation. To obtain a certificate with a new name, a Duplicate Certificate Request Form should be completed.
